The Lebanese Red Cross transported journalist Zeinab Faraj to the Government Hospital in Tebnine, although her vehicle was hit by hostile fire, leaving visible bullet holes.
Reporter Amal Khalil, from the local newspaper Al-Akhbar, remains trapped in the area and unable to be evacuated, while rescue teams try to reach her under adverse conditions.
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun called for cooperation between the Red Cross, the Lebanese Army, and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) to protect journalists and ensure safe evacuations.
At Tiri is located near Bint Jbeil, the scene of clashes between Israel and the Shiite group Hezbollah, despite the recent implementation of a ceasefire.
